I now have the Deluxe Edition published by HarperCollins and am looking forward to using it this year! I will probably use it in conjunction with the 1995 version. (If you have to have your cake and eat it too, like me, you get both editions so you can have the pull-out letters, but still read all the ones left out of the earlier version!) The newer version is the easiest to find, it is even available on Amazon. If you want a more interactive experience, though, you can’t beat the 1995 version, with removable letters! Almost any book published after 2004 will have this added material. If you want as many letters as possible, you want to make sure to get a copy of the revised edition. Instead, we take turns reading a letter or two each day, spreading the fun of the event over a few weeks! We don’t just sit down and read the whole book cover-to-cover. A few years ago, my wife and I began a fun tradition that we reenact every year during the holiday season: we read through Letters From Father Christmas by J.R.R.Tolkien!
